marchand à La Rochelle en 1659. Le 30 avril 1656, à la demande de son employeur François Perot, Michel Désorcy embarque sur le «Taureau», dans le port de La Rochelle, en direction de Québec, en Nouvelle-France, afin de faire ses classes comme futur commis officiel de l'entreprise de son patron. Ce voyage se fait en compagnie de Jean Gitton, associé de François Perot, qui se chargera d'enseigner les rouages du métier à Michel. À la fin de l'été ou au début de l'automne 1656, Michel Désorcy revient en France. Les données du PRDH semblent indiquer qu'il était présent au baptême de son fils Michel, le 2 décembre 1656, à l'église de la paroisse Saint-Nicolas, à La Rochelle. Le 17 avril 1657, Michel Désorcy est nommé commis officiel de François Peron dans le commerce de fourrures en Nouvelle-France et le lendemain, il embarque sur le «Taureau» pour son second voyage vers la colonie. Françoise Lamarre et le fils du couple, le petit Michel âgé de presque 5 mois, auraient fait la traversée à ce moment. Achat d'une terre le 24 février 1660. Ce couple s'établira à Sillery.
