    Pierre THIBAUDEAU acquiert en cette année 1654, une large concession de terre "dans-le-haut de la rivière du Dauphin", près de Port-Royal. L'endroit porte le nom de la Pré-Ronde ou "Village des THIBEAUDEAU". Il est situé à dix kilomètres de l'embouchure de la Rivière Port-Royal, au coeur de la vallée du même nom. Le site est connu aujourd'hui comme Round Hill, Nouvelle-Écosse. Cette terre serait un des premiers endroits en Amérique du Nord, occupés de façon continue par des familles d'origine française. Il y installe une maison avec des bâtiments de ferme et un moulin à blé et à planches, actionné par un proche cours d'eau dit "Des-Loups-Marins". Le titre de meunier de la Pré-Ronde fait sa renommée.

Elle venait d'arriver à Port-Royal en compagnie de sa mère, Marie Sallé, de sa soeur Jeanne, de son frère François, du second époux de sa mère, Jean-Claude Landry, de son demi-frère René Landry et de plusieurs membres de la famille Landry (voir les notices sur les familles Aucoin et Landry).

    Mais selon http://www.nosorigines.qc.ca/GenealogieQuebec.aspx?genealogie=Martin_Aucoin&pid=601364&lng=fr&partID=601366 Michelle est la fille de Barbe Minguet et non Anne-Marie Sallé et de plus, Martin Aucoin aurait eu un fils Martin en 1651, ce qui est postérieur à l'arrivée en 1641 de Anne-Marie avec son 2e mari, Jean Claude Landry.
